The truth about the Iranian regime’s new president

Image
By Sadegh Pashm-Foroush The day after the announcement of the results of Iran’s sham presidential election, Iranian regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei summoned the remaining members of the government of former regime president Ebrahim Raisi, who died in a helicopter crash on May 19. In his remarks to them—indirectly addressing new regime president Massoud Pezeshkian—he warned him and reminded him of the “model” of the president in the regime. The supreme leader repeatedly mentioned Raisi and said, “He is truly a model; we must all learn from him.” He then reiterated the concept of “heartfelt belief and practical commitment” to the regime, which Pezeshkian, like all the election candidates, had committed to. Khamenei stated, “Dear Raisi demonstrated as a model that one can possess these mental, heartfelt, and practical qualities as the president of a country and follow them in practice.” Of course, before the sham election, Pezeshkian repeatedly stated that he would continue Raisi...

Iran’s 1401 Year: A Hopeful Beginning, a Turbulent Journey, and a Promising Future

Image
Written by Hossein Daei Alilslam The Persian Year 1401 has just ended. A year full of ups and downs, sorrow and happiness, fear and bravery for the Iranian people in their quest to establish a secular, non-nuclear, and democratic republic. As the year began, the regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei lauded the installation of Ebrahim Raisi as the new president, extolling it as a “sweet development.” Yet, as the year progressed, even the state-controlled press reported on the  dwindling support  for Raisi amongst Khamenei’s faction due to the worsening economic and social crises. The country’s inflation now hovers above 50%, the highest in four years. The value of the national currency, the rial, rapidly plunges. When the year began, the value of a dollar was 250,000 rials, but presently, it has exceeded 450,000 rials. An egg now costs 30,000 rials, which represents a 100% rise compared to last year. Likewise, the cost of meat has skyrocketed to 5 million rials per kilo. ...

Shah, the foundation of foreign domination and fascism in Iran!

Image
Shah represented two phenomena simultaneously in Iran: ·         Fascist repression internally ·         Foreign powers interests and domination In 1878, Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, in order to maintain his monarchy, borrowed a ruthless brigade called the Cossack Brigade from the Russian army, and paid all their expenses from the government’s treasury, i.e. the pockets of the Iranian people. Among the famous leaders of this force, we can mention the notorious Russian colonel Liakhov, who bombarded the first Iranian constitutional assembly, and later on Reza Khan the Ghazagh (Cossack) with help from dominant colonial powers staged a coup d’état and Reza Khan was installed as king. A king who, when his expiration date was over, his masters kicked him out of Iran in disgrace and appointed his son in his place. And in turn, when the expiration date of “son” was over, General Robert E.Huyser came and arranged...
